Hello, I was trying Narcissus the other day, and proceeded to build an unstable image for my H3900, with X11 (matchbox). Examining its contents, I noticed that it is using the same kernel as the last liveram stable image (2007.12). I booted it using the Angstrom bootloader used for the 2007.12 stable loopback image and everything went fine until the splash screen appeared. It froze there.
Investigating further, I booted the same image using HaRet 0.5.2 (latest I could find) and passing the option "psplash=false" to the kernel. I followed the progress in the on-screen console and everything stopped when the boot process was configuring the uinput kernel module. It froze there, that is, it was unresponsive for the following 15 minutes and I simply rebooted the machine afterwards. Any ideas of what should be done? I might be able to provide more info if someone could give me their advice. I don't know how to log the boot process, since I don't have a serial cable. Maybe screen captures are ok? Thanks for reading. _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
