Hello! > * uncompress installkit > * copy updater.sh and zImage to SD card > * rename zImage to zImage.bin
not sure this step is necessary > * insert SD card > * unpower and repower the zaurus > * OK button + power on > * Select entry 4 > * Select SD > * Confirm > > Then, the install go well, but the zaurus freeze. The screen contains: > > --- Universal Zaurus Updater r24 --- > MODEL: SL-C700 (c7x0) > > 0% 100% > ........... > --- Finish! --- > Rebooting > INIT: Switching to runlevel: 6 > INIT: Sending processes the TERM signal > Rebooting the system... Flashing should be done at this point. So you have new kernel (kexecboot) flashed in NAND. > Then, the cursor blink 5 seconds and the zaurus freeze: > - screen stays as previous > - power LED switch off > - screen backlight switch off Seems that current kernel can't reboot or new kernel can't boot.. Have you original NAND backup? Or may be any other with original Sharp bootloader. Have you serial cable? -- Yuri Bushmelev _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
