I'm trying bitbake for the first time, and I'm plowing through the
documentation, but I'm finding some answers that are confusing me, or can't
find answers at all.

First, for the output of bitbake, the wiki says, "Output of the build process
(temporary files, log files and the binaries) all ends up in the tmp directory.
Most interesting is probably the tmp/work/ directory."
TMPDIR in local.conf points to a particular directory, but there are no log
files in it, only a cache folder and 3 text files with version numbers in them.
Where is the output (the flash image) placed?

Second, I'm getting an error message from the sanity checker,
"Please install following missing utilities:
help2man,diffstat,texi2html,makeinfo,cvs,chrpath"
There is a folder, containing the .bb and .inc files, in the recipes folder for
all of them except makeinfo. What do I need to do to "install" them?

Third, I am getting warnings about a number of packages that have been
superseded, like ipkg. Do I just remove their folders from recipes to make
them go away, or is there a config somewhere that I have missed? local.conf
appears to point to recipes/*/*.

Thanks.

Walt
