Good day,
I'm in the process of revisiting a Linux distro on the hx4700. I've
previously installed Familiar on it and it definitely a learning process.
I've recently installed (a few times) the 2007-12 image that is on the site.
I realize that this is no longer supported but it was the simplest solution
given that I had the SDG bootloader already installed. Once the image is
upgraded it won't boot. I saw a thread on this and the suggestion was to not
upgrade anything more than required. Not really an option due to the fact
I'd like to start installing some of the newer programs/applications
available for the Angstrom distro. I also realize that you can use the image
builder to build more up-to-date versions.
My question is this, is there and easy was to convert the more up-to-date
images to the jffs format used by the bootloader? I've taken a look online
and through the wiki and couldn't find anything.
I'm not quite sure how to proceed, any suggestions/advice would be
appreciated.

Thanks
Mike
