Hello! I'm new to Angstrom but have been using Linux and the Zaurus SL-5500. Recently my old Zaurus SL-5500 died (fortunately I had backed it up on an SD card) and I wound up buying 2 Zauruses (the SL-5500 Collie and the SL-5600 Poodle) off ebay...both for $100. I thought I could just download the ROM updates off of Sharp on the web like I did a couple years ago. BUT-Sharp discontinued posting their ROMs online. I restored the SL-5500 with an updated Sharp ROM (I did find that) and then restored my backup. Unfortunately I could not find any Sharp software for the SL-5600 Poodle and thought I had just bought a paperweight.
Then I found the Angstrom distro ROM for my SL-5600. I tried all the images from 12-2007 and like Opie the best. There are still some quirks like no sound, undefined keys, and no networking that I'm working on. I read a lot of the archived user lists from here today but I cannot find the FAQ page from the Anstrom site that links here: http://linuxtogo.org/gowiki/AngstromFaq That page says: PAGE NOT FOUND I read through the manual from June 2010 but it does not address most of my problems and refers to commands not included in my 2007 build (that's the only poodle build I found for Angstrom). So, I'm looking for stuff to read before asking obvious questions. Is there a FAQ page somewhere anymore?
