Hello Angstrom distro users list,

I'm a non-proud owner of an iPaq hw6915 device, and just found out about this
distribution,
 so decided to try the
Angstrom-x11-image-liveramdisk-2007.12-hx4700.exe
"live cd" on it, but saw the notification that "hard reset will be required to
boot wince",
that spooked me.

Some 6 years ago, back in the Opie days I tried to build and boot my own
kernel/ramdisk using Haret on this same device (but it never booted up X_X )
and from what I recall that if you boot the kernel/ramdisk into RAM of the
device using Haret, then a regular soft reset is enough to boot wince (and
nothing gets lost, since this device stores it's OS and data on a flash
filesystem, not in a battery backed-up RAM, as in earlier models).

Please advise on:
- how dangerous the "live cd" may be to the device and especially the OS that
currently lives there;
- the choice of particular build that's best suitable for hw6915, or should
build everything myself;
- availability of mobile phone, camera & GPS support (I dream installing Linux
on it for years, maybe it's finally the dreams come true time ))))) ).

Thanks!
ArticIce(Juice) a.k.a. Artem Pylypchuk
