Angstrom mailing list! I'm trying to get the Angstrom operating system installed on my BeagleBoard-xM <http://beagleboard.org/hardware-xM>using a tutorial by Trey Weaver<http://treyweaver.blogspot.com/2010/10/installing-angstrom-on-beagleboard-xm.html>and the angstrom distribution builder <http://narcissus.angstrom-distribution.org/> on the angstrom-distribution site. I can get the board to boot off the SD card but instead f getting the XFCE gui: I get a terminal prompt. Furthermore when I try to run a gstreamer pipeline the console returns can't find /dev/cmem.
Could I be doing anything wrong with the configuration? I'm selecting, on the narcissus page (other than the defaults): - BeagleBoard for rootfs image - Advanced complexity options - Extended base system - X11 for the user enviroment - Xfce for X11 desktop enviroment - Bootloader Files (x-load/uboot/scripts) - Gstreamer - Gstreamer GLES Plugin - Texas Instruments Gstreamer plugins Do I need to install more things? Do I need to do more stuff? Any help would be appreciated. -- *W.A.
