I have these three element all with the same directive attribute:

<div my-directive></div><div my-directive></div><div my-directive></div>

I want the directive to execute (i.e., compile and link) only once for the
first element. I also want the directive to *know* about the other elements
- but again, not execute for them.

I tried simply removing the attribute does not work.

element.siblings().removeAttr('my-directive');
$compile();

But it doesn't work.

Thanks!
