You can add any number of optional parameters to your url such as:
href="#/users/1?filterBy=coolPeople&sortBy=lastName
All these attributes will automatically get added to you $routeParams which
will look like:
{
PageNumber: 1,
filterBy: 'coolPeople',
sortBy: 'lastName'
}
