meanwhile commented out the $locationProvider.html5Mode(true); and then
it seems to work fine - must be missing something here since you have it
active
I wish people would stop using plnkr instead of jsfiddle. Plnkr won't
work on my phone and requires cookies even to view which might be nice
for Google's advertisers and their NSA contract but a pain for us that
try to limit tracking.

common webpage layouts, but the inability of using bootstrap navbar
is a showstopper for using angular - we can use angular without
bootstrap but for several sites want to use bootstrap.
specifying a route of <a href="#/about" along with "/about" in the
route config leads to flaky issues like being stuck on the same page.
have tried iterations of "/about", "#about", .... all with no success.
we tried with the new angular-ui - it doesn't seem to address it
amazing that searching resulted in a bunch of examples where routes
are never really included just <a href = "#"
Anyone have a working example ?
