According to Vojta, that di.js repo is the current, up-to-date (but work-in-progress) repository. The examples he showed off at ng-conf were not angular-specific, as you noticed, so I'm pretty sure this is still a little too young to be used with the current state of angular. Keep an eye on that di.js repo, I'll be doing the same and playing around with it over the next few weeks to try to contribute something.
