Did you take a look at the plunker I posted? Is that what you were trying
to do?
The <div ng-bind='waiting'></div> should not even get triggered by your
directive!
That is the exactly the same as putting <div>{{waiting}}</div> in your
template. That does just bind the $scope.waiting to your template!
And that has nothing to do with your directive!
