What are you unsure about?

The core issue with both CORS and JSONP is that the server has to support
it.

If you want data from a server that you don't control, and the server
doesn't
support CORS or JSONP, then your only option is to build your own server
to get data from that server, and have your app get its data from the
server
that you do control.
