I have more thoughts than might be good for one ;)
If you would need all of those formatting stuff, and also links, perhaps 
it's an idea to switch your source over to 
markdown<http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/>, 
and use showdown <https://github.com/coreyti/showdown> to display it to the 
user? Brian Ford has an sample 
directive<https://github.com/btford/angular-markdown-directive>for this.
