[AngularJS] How I can escape html in Angular?

I need escape html in controller.

var text = "demo <br/> text"
var escapedText = $escapeService(text) //demo $gt;br/&lt text;

 
Now I use

angular.element("<div>").html(text).text();

 
I think there is a better way. Which?
