I have a directive that gets added to the page after page load by the user. The directive is added and works fine. It has an isolated scope. For some reason element is undefined in my linking function, the why is alluding me. I am not sure if this is due to the isolated scope or the fact that the directive is added after the page loads. element is need so that can extract the id of the parent element. Any suggestions idea's on possible causes would be great.
