Hi folks, I'm pretty new to Angular, very happy so far. I used to use Dojo
a lot and loved their dijit system for widgets. (Dojo seems to have tanked
themselves by being unfocussed and disorganized so few people use it
anymore. too bad, dijits were really smart).

I'd like to know what the best (and/or most common) way to make "smart" ui
widgets for Angular apps is. I want to be able to do thing like make
searching pull down boxes that integrate seamlessly with my back end. I
assume this is done by making directives for your smart widgets, but would
like to know if I should be looking at any particular UI libraries to help
with this.

Thoughts and rants welcome!
Thanks
Iain
