Hi Daniel, As you are new, you forgot that getting results with $http will actually take place after completing your complete controller. So at the moment you are joining your brandListSelectDirector with brandList, the later one is still empty. have a look at this: http://plnkr.co/edit/YppWnAKrkWHHm09JR8no?p=preview I did nothing, but move your concat code inside the $http result handler.
