IMHO the best way is to use "ng-if"

like that:

<div ng-controller="MyCtrl">
    <select ng-model="selection">

        <option value="">- - Make Selection - -</option>
        <option value="PP">PP</option>
        <option value="PM">PM</option>
    </select>

    <input ng-if="selection=='PP'" type="text" />
    <input ng-if="selection=='PM'" type="number" />
</div>
