Would I miss out on functionality by choosing to use AngularJS on the
front-end without using .Net?

I have a need to build a new application and I am debating whether to use
.Net (MVC and components) with AngularJS or not. I am not well versed in
.Net so I am not sure of the advantages of using it with AngularJS, my
novice impression is that I can go either way. I would like to know if I
am missing out on some functionality by not using .Net and going with just
AngualrJS. Thoughts?
I know .Net will be used for a Restful web services so .Net is going to
included in this project although it will live in the middle and not
necessarily on the front-end. Charting will be something that is also
important for this application and it needs to work on devices. Thanks for
any insights.
