Hi Judy, While looking at your plunk, it did not work for me. I can update your directive for you, but I need the jQuery part working. the console gives me a number of errors on the jQuery part, and I don't have the time available to go debugging your/the jQuery code.
If the only failing part is the angular stuff, drop me a note, and I will take a second look.
