I ran into something similar earlier today ...
I don't know if this will help, but I think you may have to add '$scope', 
'$http' to your dependencies list.

    module.controller("RouteController1", *['$scope', '$http',* function(
$scope,$http) {
           $http.get('./json/hotelproximity.json').success(function(data) {
