I played around with your plunk, even throw in some

the result is even stranger as before the transclusion..

I looks like you found a bug, at least it is not working as it is 
documented..
result may vary, but the docs clearly states: 
Post-linking function

Executed after the child elements are linked. It is safe to do DOM 
transformation in the post-linking function.

and you plunk shows it is not. The transclusion I mixed in makes it even 
worse!
I think you should file an issue on github!
