Personally I don't mind a one-men show. However, I understand when one is a 
bit hesitant in using this.
Have a look over the code, and see if it's something you could maintain 
yourself. If the answer is yes,
there is little risk involved, and you can use the project at hand.
If no, consult the maintainer (Martin Gontovnikas) and just ask him, and 
what his plans are.
Are you visiting ng-europe? He will be there too, so you can talk to the 
guy in person!

I can't really advise you here. I prefer to build my own solution using 
$http.
