I have added Google analytics to the site I was working on recently, successfully. I am using ui.router to handle the route changes but the premise is the same. I assume you have added the tracking code to your index.html file and then track the url on the route change or start event? I dont have the implementation to hand but can post it up later. We store the google tracking id in our config.js file which is built using grunt so we can test it out prior to being released to production.
