Hi Moses, Eric is right, you don't need to change your language. And AngularJS will indeed be written in ATscript. ATscript itself is a superset of ES6. If you like, you might use it yourself, but you don't need too.
ATscript will compile to both to ES5 and DART. So with a single code-base, the core team will be able to support both languages. That is really good news for both communities, as all efforts will be put into one single code-repository. Bottom-line, no matter what language you select (ES5, ES6, ATscript, DART) you will able to use the same AngularJS version.
