Hello,
techfolk is helping http://www.ihtsdo.org/ create a new web apps team, releasing the knowledge contained within its medical and healthcare terminology product ‘SNOMED CT’ - which is open source. There’s a new vacancy which seems relevant to share with the Angular community: Front End Developer | permanent | JavaScript, ideally some Java too | £35,000 – £40,000: http://techfolk.co.uk/current-jobs/front-end-developer-work-home-tl73 It’s a mid level role, on a suite of brand new applications, with real influence on design and UX. It is also technical however, with aspects of implementation. An understanding of good coding practices is required. Presently, they’re using the Ember and Angular frameworks. There’s scope for researching and implementing new frameworks and front end technologies to find better ways of delivering information to their global user base - healthcare Informatics people, clinicians and academics. It’s all web browser based, no mobile. We’re grateful for opportunity to share this with the group, and we welcome interest or questions. Thanks!
