You can use indeed a function, but your function had an mistake, all
workflows would only show the selected one in stead of the one you put into
the workflow,
this will work a bit better:
vm.addWorkflow = function () {
vm.workflow.push({
id: ++id,
partner:vm.selected,
title: function() {
return this.partner.name;
}
});
};
