You have it wrong, that is not how angulars DI works. the brackets ‘[]’ are there to aid minification, they do not add anything else. If you want to know more about that, just google for ngAnnotate, there is an good explanation there. You have an IdleProvider, that actually means that there is a Idle service, that can be configured in the config function. For that configuration you use the IdleProvider For normal use, you can inject the Idle service everywhere you want. However, if the Idle service does not expose an way to alter the config setting, you are out of luck. Does this makes it a bit more clear to you?
