If I recall correctly, in ngEurope or ng-conf Miško said that they are 
going to backport the new router and lazy module loading into Angular 1.x, 
but I cannot really see anything surfacing in the news yet.

Is there any roadmap for this? Or any active discussion, besides this one:

Because this discussion has it's shortages and is going in circles for some 
time...

I am re-architecturing a big scale application and would really like to 
have the lazy loaded angular modules, but going to 2.0 already is a bit too 
scary.
