Assuming you are targeting modern browsers (at least browsers that have set)
var mySet = new Set();
function parseCat(elm) {
elm.catogoria.forEach(function(cat) { mySet.set(cat)}
}
$scope.attivita.forEach(parseCat)
console.log(mySet.values())
No angular required at all ;)
