First of all, I'm not entirely sure this will work, but did you try using
the $http without a so called short-cut method?
like:
$http({
mehtod:"options",
url: "/myAPiUrl"
...
})
Does that work for you?
If not, you might need to implement the native xmlHTTPrequest for those
requests.
