Hi Slevin,

Because angular must process every url equally if you are in HTML5 modus. 
Iirc you can at an target="_self" to you tags, and then it will work as you 
expect.
Something like:
<a href="/someOtherPage.html" target="_self" Enter code here...</a>
Should do the trick.
