Hi Steven,

The M in angular is whatever you like. You use the controllers to hook up
your own models to the view. There is no factory-provided model. You could
use plain JS objects, JS-maps, or any other model you like.
Keep your controllers to an minimum, you should only hook up your services
that provides your models to the view in there. Some light view logic is
allowed. Put the business logic into services. Same goes fro the model
handling.

To get to grips you should read the styleguide
<https://github.com/johnpapa/angular-styleguide>. There is a lot of this
stuff explained in there.

Regards
Sander
