Hi Lieke, That's a hard question to be answered for an framework that's not even in beta. Everything that is true now, and is a downside now, can and probably will change before the first beta version. The only thing that comes to mind is that it might be a bit harder to understand and learn, and it might be a tad overly verbose. To put the learning part in perspective, not all tools are equally easy to learn. If you do woodwork, you can achieve pretty much everything with a hammer and a chisel. Not much of a learning curve there(for the tools, not the woodwork itself). However, imagine the productivity increase when you master a CNC wood router <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNC_wood_router>. The link that Mayur provided, seems to miss that issue. Not all tools are the same. Some tools are a bit harder to understand. Some jobs needs other tools. Compared to the woodwork, building a single chair is far easier with the hammer and chisel. Building 100? I bet the CNC machine will be the better tool. Building a city? You need both, and a whole lot more tools.
