Your problem isn't clear from the code you provided. Can you provide us
with a plunk <http://plnkr.co/edit/tpl:jYx438Sc83AjRooqPamF>, showcasing
your issue.
Aside from that, your factory is overly complicated. $http does return a
normal promise, so you can replace what you have with:
$http
.jsonp(url)
.then(function (response) {return response.data; })
