Hi Christophe,

There is a lot of work already being done on the ngMaterial2. However it 
will still take quite some time before any of this will be in a usable 
form. If you need to go to production this year, I would recommend sticking 
with 1.x. 

Do use NG2 a bit. start to get a feel for it. While doing that, you also 
will get a feel for how far along it is for using it in production for your 
own projects. 

There are projects like ngForward, and ngUpgrade that will let you mix NG1 
and NG2 in the same app. You can use that in the transition to gradually 
upgrade your existing apps. (There is a cost involved. by going this route 
you need to keep 2 frameworks in your app, this creates a extra load...)
