*MUST HAVE:*
- 5+ years *Java* programming experience
- 3+ years development using *Microsoft SQL Server including*
- Strong experience writing *complex queries* in MS SQL
- Experience creating multiple types of *joins* in MS SQL
- Excellent communication skills
*NICE TO HAVE:*
- Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work
and preparing thorough, accurate, and detailed schedule estimates
- Demonstrated competency in designing, programming, and unit testing
complex n-Tier applications
- Demonstrated competency in producing clear and thorough technical
documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to
express complex technical concepts in business terms
- BS / BA in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering
or related field
- Demonstrated experience with taking initiative to provide input and
resolve issues and problems proactively
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both technical and
business related, and to apply these concepts as needed
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple
assignments
- Experience working in the restaurant or food services industry
- Experience developing or maintaining point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Preferably using Java on a POS System
