HI Pat, I don't know what event's (if any) your 3rth party component fires. If that is know, it's easy to change the directive to pick up on that event in stead of using a timer. Depending on your use, you can also put in a larger timeout. In most cases, timeouts under 250Ms are quite acceptable..
