In angular2 we are using third party DataTables plugin which is inside an angular2 tab component. Tabs are dynamic and was created following http://blog.thoughtram.io/angular/2015/04/09/developing-a-tabs-component-in-angular-2.html tutorial.
Now there is an already known issue for Datatables within tabs which can be solved with $($.fn.dataTable.tables(true)).DataTable().columns.adjust(); on tab click. tried doing it in selectTab() function,but it doesn't work.Also in my tabs component i can't access the currently selected tab's component[in this case datatable inside it] on ngAfterContentInit(). <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hjsuEBh9fLo/V2bXm4ErQuI/AAAAAAAAABA/UTjCzNWtrVoUQiJHljX4hUvH0bsehxIMQCLcB/s1600/New%2BPicture.bmp> I know there exists angular2 datatables but right now i want to use this 3rd party one for the time being.
