Hi,

I am trying to build Angular2 prototype connecting to SQL Server to call
Stored Procs
(SQL Server 2016 can return resultsets in JSON, but we are not on it yet,
currently on 2013).

Is using MSSQL for NodeJS a good idea?
 See:https://github.com/patriksimek/node-mssql
If not, how do we connect Angular2 to Java?

We have existing Flex / Java8 / Spring / BlazeDS app with a lot of grids
and charts (Line, Pie, Bar, TreeMaps, heat maps),
which we want to start converting to Angular2 next year. Doing some
preparation work - will build one screen from there.

Any guidance is really appreciated.

TIA,
Oleg.
