Although I use AngularJS, with respect to ASP>NET/MVC, it is the same as 
Angular 2 just a different library.  (It would apply to a jQuery app also.)

For 90% of the pages, it is written in pure html & js.  No need for 
ASP>NET/MVC.  Typical display screens and save data using web api to the 
server.

BUT, 10% of the pages need to access the a user's local file system. (The 
reason is incidental.) That is the only reason I have to use ASP>NET/MVC .
