It looks like the 1.1.6 milestones are being tagged efficiently, but the 
merges haven’t started happening for that milestone 
(https://github.com/angular/material/milestone/58) yet. But that’s not 
totally surprising with 11/9 being the target date for 1.1.6.

1.1.5 was released just 20 days ago and it was a release of some pretty 
significant size 
(https://github.com/angular/material/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#115-2017-09-06) 
after the almost 5 months since 1.1.4 was released in April.
