Hi Rich, What is coming from your this.dataService.getAllOrders()? Setting a type does not modify your data in any way. If this.dataService.getAllOrders() pushes out a string, that's what you end up with. By setting the type the way you did it, you make sure the linter passes, but this does not say anything on tha actual data you are passing around.
