Sorry for posting this here, I couldn't find a more appropriate place for 
the question.

I came across this available method in the ui-router API. (See: 
https://ui-router.github.io/ng1/docs/latest/classes/view.viewservice.html#available
)

The description for the method is as follows:

Returns the list of views currently available on the page, by 
> fully-qualified name.

I have taken this to mean the list of views that currently exist in the 
DOM. It still isn't obvious after digging into the source.

Is this a reasonable assumption?
