sound about right. I have no idea what is going wrong. unless you are 
refreshing the browser. if that happens, a service will not work, and you 
need to use something like localstorage or indexdb. 
If you are not refreshing the browser, please make a quick stackblits that 
examples your issue, and I will take a look.
