thanks for the inputs, ive finally understood everything i needed to understand for now :-)
ive uploaded a post on the install process in ubuntu on my blog ibeams.org it runs fine and now i can focus on the sending of osc plus of course modelling some nice characters in animata ;-) thanks again, will write back when more knowledge is needed.
