Dear Declan,

The scripts are on
https://www.faunalia.it/dokuwiki/doku.php/public/animove_howto
right at the bottom, just over the references.

Subject: Re: [AniMov] R scripts uploaded

Where are these scripts uploaded to? I've scoured the likely places I can think
of but I must be overlooking them.
Thanks ,
Declan

I have uploaded some scripts that we used to compare different home range
estimators (Huck, M., Davison, J., Roper, T.J., 2008. Comparison of two
sampling protocols and four home range estimators using radio-tracking data
from urban badgers. Wildlife Biology 14, 467-477.)

The scripts compare
1) the distance between the central points of the locations of two home ranges
2) the overlap of two home ranges calculated using
   a) kernel
   b) LoCoH
   c) MCP
-- all using randomisation tests.

The functions are likely to be clumsily written since we both are not
experienced programmers, and any suggestions for improvements would be
welcomed. We nonetheless hope that the functions might prove of some use to
people planning similar analyses.

We would like to thank Paolo for his help with uploading the scripts.

Kind regards,
Maren and John
