Hi all, I've crafted a (rather lengthy) proposal to be (potentially) sent to the Apache Software Foundation to start Annotator on the path to incubation (and subsequently to join Apache as a top-level project...we hope!).
I posted the first draft of this proposal on the `annotator` project wiki--where I figured we could iterate it best: https://github.com/openannotation/annotator/wiki/Apache-Incubation-Proposal We're still discussing the if/when/how's of all this, but this should give us something concrete to work from--or that's my hope anyway. :) Cheers!
