The Apache Parquet team is pleased to announce the release of Apache
Parquet MR 1.7.0. This is the first release since Parquet became a
top-level project.
Parquet MR is a set of Java libraries for working with the Parquet
column-oriented file format for Apache Hadoop. This release is identical
to the 1.6.0-incubating release, except that the packages and artifacts
have been renamed to org.apache.parquet. There are no behavioral changes
to make transitioning to the new names easier.
